But everyone tries to better the others and get the nicest dress." Charlene's groom is also in the pub before the wedding, although she sympathises, saying: "He is really shy so if he wasn't drunk he wouldn't go up to the altar."

The episode also features updates from Paddy Doherty, and married couple Josie and Swanley, who are expecting their first child. In the spirit of the season, we'll be featuring not one but two winter weddings. First up, we have Lavinia, a tan-tastic teen whose diamante-encrusted gown is so extravagant, she has to resort to an unusual solution to protect her hips from the weight—nappies! Will she make it up the aisle, or will her absent groom leave her out in the cold?

Our second bride, Charlene, faces a different challenge. Her cartoon-inspired dress is so huge that it restricts her mobility.
