The photographer will make every effort to capture photographs of as many guests as possible, which may be limited by guests' cooperation.

The photographer will make every effort to provide satisfactory coverage but cannot make any guarantees as to specific photos, poses, etc. during the event. The photographer will perform limited colour correction and retouching prior to delivering any physical copies of images to the Clients. If the Clients request a digital copy of their images, the Photographer will provide three image sets: black & white, original colour, and corrected/retouched copies. The Clients may request additional physical copies of images and footage from the event within 7 days of the wedding date. The photographer is not responsible for the condition of the deliverables received in physical form.

The photographer will retain the copyright of all photographs. The photographer grants the Client permission to make copies of the images for personal use by the Client, their family, and friends. Sale, publication, or any other commercial use is specifically prohibited without the prior written consent of the Photographer. This contract serves as a model release form, granting the photographer the right to use all images and footage without restriction for advertising, portfolios, and other lawful purposes.

Payment terms and conditions

The total fee for the services provided by the photographer will be [insert amount]. This total fee is inclusive of all charges, including but not limited to taxes, travel expenses, and editing costs.

Cancellation and refund policies

Cancellation by the Client

The Client may cancel this Agreement at any time prior to the event. Upon cancellation, the Client will be entitled to a refund of any monies paid, except for the non-refundable deposit. If the Client cancels the contract within the "cooling-off period" (usually between 10-30 days after signing, they are entitled to a full refund. If the Client cancels after this period, they will forfeit their deposit. If the Client cancels less than 30 days before the event, they agree to pay the full amount for the services listed.

Cancellation by the Photographer

The Photographer may cancel this Agreement at any time prior to the event. If the Photographer cancels, they must provide a suitable replacement photographer, subject to the Client's approval, which shall be obtained in writing. Alternatively, the Photographer shall refund all monies paid by the Client, including the non-refundable deposit. If the Photographer finds a suitable replacement, they shall forward all monies already paid by the Client to the new photographer.

Refund Policy

In the event of cancellation by either party, the Photographer will refund all payments received for the services provided or part thereof according to the percentage of images supplied. If the Photographer is unable to perform the services due to injury or illness, they will make all attempts to find a replacement photographer. If no replacement is found, their liability is limited to a refund of any payments received.

Copyright and usage rights

The photographer shall maintain the copyright of all photographs taken during the wedding and its related events. The photographer grants the client permission to reproduce and make use of the photographs for personal use only. The client may make copies of the images for themselves, as well as their friends and family. Any sale, publication, or commercial use of the photographs is prohibited without the prior written consent of the photographer. The photographer is free to use the images for advertising, portfolios, and other promotional purposes.

The client acknowledges that the photographer may be limited by rules imposed by the venue or officiants regarding photography. In such cases, the client accepts that these restrictions will impact the quality of the photographs. It is the client's responsibility to be aware of any such rules and negotiate for fewer or more favourable restrictions if necessary.

The client also understands that the photographer will not be held liable for missed photographs due to interruptions or obstructions caused by wedding guests or other individuals carrying out photography tasks. The photographer will, however, make every effort to compensate for any scheduling delays or changes to ensure the best possible outcome.

The client agrees to provide a meal for the photographer if their attendance is required for more than five hours. Additionally, the client will provide a brief overview of the wedding's expectations to allow the photographer to prepare in advance. The photographer agrees to make reasonable efforts to capture photographs of as many guests as possible.
