Leonard and Penny's vow renewal

Penny's father, Wyatt, escorted her up the aisle, with her mother, Susan, and brother, Randall, in attendance. Leonard's parents, Alfred and Beverly, were also present.

Penny began the ceremony, acknowledging the tension in the room and thanking Leonard for marrying her, "hopefully for the last time". Leonard, overcome with emotion, expressed his gratitude and love for Penny, saying:

> I don't think I'll ever understand how someone like me could get to be with someone like you. You know…maybe…I don't need to understand it, I just need to be grateful. I love you, Penny.

Leonard's father, Alfred, then stood to speak, acknowledging the difficult relationship between himself and Beverly, but expressing his joy at the wonderful thing that came from it: his son, Leonard.

Sheldon then stood to speak, expressing his love for Leonard and Penny, and acknowledging the recent threat of his and Amy's parents getting back together.

The stag party for Howard's wedding

Howard's bachelor party, also known as "The Stag Convergence", is the 22nd episode of the fifth season of The Big Bang Theory. The episode first aired on April 26, 2012, and attracted 12.65 million viewers in the United States.

The episode begins with Sheldon, Raj, Leonard, and Howard discussing Howard's bachelor party. Howard reaffirms to Raj that strippers are banned from the party. Raj then suggests a wine-tasting train trip through Napa Valley, which is rejected. Meanwhile, Amy is filming Bernadette and Penny making wedding party gifts.

The bachelor party proves to be a failure, with Sheldon's jokes falling flat and Barry Kripke complaining about the lack of strippers. Later, Bernadette comes to drive Howard and Raj home and reveals that Wil Wheaton put a video of Raj's speech on YouTube. Howard had previously claimed that he told her about every girl he had been with, but he had not. Back at her apartment, Bernadette questions whether she can marry him. She is also upset at Penny, who originally set her up with Howard.

Howard eventually shows up at Bernadette's apartment and asks Penny to give Bernadette his heartfelt and genuine apology, which moves Penny to tears. Bernadette overhears this and forgives him. The episode ends with a group hug, which Amy finds "hot".
