Leslie Fhima, a 64 or 65-year-old fitness instructor from Minneapolis, Minnesota, was a contestant on the show and a frontrunner for Turner's heart. Fhima was a fan favourite and made it to the finale as one of the final two women, alongside Theresa Nist. However, Turner ultimately chose Nist, leaving Fhima heartbroken.
Despite this, Fhima attended Turner and Nist's wedding, also known as the Golden Wedding. She told fellow contestant Kathy Swarts, "I was very good friends with Theresa. We supported each other throughout the whole time in the house, and all the way through this journey. And I am so, so happy for her and Gerry. I really am.
