Amazon's wedding registry is a convenient way to keep track of the items you want, making it easy for your friends and family to find the perfect gift for you and your partner. Creating a wedding registry on Amazon is a simple process. First, go to the Amazon Wedding Registry portal and follow the on-screen instructions. Creating an Amazon Wedding Registry profile

Step 1: Visit the Amazon Wedding Registry Portal

Go to the Amazon Wedding Registry homepage and sign in to your Amazon account. If you don't have an account, you can create one by following the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Start the Registry Creation Process

Once signed in, look for the "Create Your Registry" or "Create My Registry" button and click on it. This will initiate the process of creating your wedding registry profile.

Step 3: Provide Basic Information

You will be directed to a page where you will need to provide some basic information. This includes your name and your partner's name, your wedding date (or an estimate if you don't have a set date yet), and the size of your wedding (number of guests). Adding items to your registry

Once you've created your wedding registry, you can start adding items to your list.

Any time you're on an Amazon product page on the browser or app, you should see the option to add the item to your wedding registry. If you're using the Amazon app, you can also add items from a product page; find the product you'd like, scroll down, then tap "Add to Registry & Gifting" and select your registry.

You can also add items from your registry page directly. When logged in to your registry, click on "Add items" from the menu near the top of the page. Then, you should see a list of products, broken down by categories like "Popular," "Kitchen," and "Home."

Once you've added a product to your registry, you can make changes to the item at any time. Find the item you want to amend and click "Edit item" to change the requested amount, mark it as "most wanted," add comments for your guests, or remove the product.

You can also add items directly from a product page on your desktop or the Amazon app. Look at any item on Amazon, and you'll see a drop-down menu on the right side of your screen that says "Wedding Registry" (on desktop) or "Add to Registry & Gifting" (on the app). Click that, then follow the steps to "Create."

Editing items in your registry

Editing items in your Amazon Wedding Registry is a straightforward process. You can manage your Wedding Registry in one place by following these steps:

Locating Your Wedding Registry

Firstly, you need to locate your Wedding Registry. To do this, log in to your Amazon account and go to the Amazon Wedding Registry page. Here, you can access your Wedding Registry by selecting the "Wedding Registry" option on the "Account and Lists" drop-down menu.

Editing Items

Once you are on your Wedding Registry page, you can start editing items. Find the item you wish to change and select "Edit Item". You can then edit the item's settings as required. This includes changing the requested amount, marking the item as essential or a priority, adding comments for guests, or even removing the item from the list.

If you wish to add an item in a different colour or style, you can select the item to view more details, or go to the product detail page. From there, you can review the other versions of the item and select the one you prefer. Remember to delete the previous version from your registry.

You can also change the requested quantity by selecting the "Edit" button, changing the number in the "Requested" field, and saving your changes.

To change the product category, select "Edit", choose the desired category from the drop-down menu, and save your changes.

Additionally, you can enable group gifting, mark an item as a "Must-Have", or mark an item as private by selecting "Edit" and checking the appropriate boxes before saving your changes.

Saving Your Changes

After making your desired edits, remember to select "Save Changes" to ensure your changes are applied.

Partner Editing

It is also worth noting that you can give your partner access to edit items in the Wedding Registry without giving them access to your Amazon account. To do this, go to your Wedding Registry, select "Menu", choose "Settings", enter your partner's email address, and select "Save Changes". Amazon will then email your partner with instructions on how to edit the registry.

Sharing your registry

Once you've created your Amazon Wedding Registry, you can choose your desired privacy setting, and you can change this at any time in Settings on your registry page.

To do so, select Settings in the menu close to the top of the page, then scroll down to the privacy options to choose your preference before selecting 'Save Changes'.

You can also easily change your privacy setting by selecting 'Your registry' from the menu close to the top of your wedding registry page. In the top left, under your and your partner's names and a countdown to your wedding date, it will say 'Your registry is', followed by the privacy setting you've chosen ('Private', 'Shareable', or 'Public').

Whenever you're ready to share your wedding registry, you'll see a Share button next to an icon of an arrow pointing up in the top right of your screen. You can copy the link from there, or even choose to change the link if you'd like to customize it, for example with your and your partner's names. There's also the option to share the link on social media.

If your registry is set to public, your guests can simply search for it on Amazon. Or, if you prefer, you can share a link with only those you choose, or keep your registry private so it stays between you and your co-registrant until you're ready to share it.

Setting privacy preferences

You can change your privacy settings at any time in the Settings on your registry page. To do this, select Settings in the menu at the top of the page, then scroll down to the privacy options and choose your preference before selecting "Save Changes". You can also access your privacy settings by selecting "Your registry" from the menu at the top of your wedding registry page. Here, you will see your current privacy setting ("Private", "Shareable", or "Public") and can change it by selecting the setting again to choose a different option.

You can also choose to share your registry with others by selecting the "Share" button in the top right corner of your registry page. This will allow you to copy the link to your registry, which you can then send to others. You can also change the link if you wish, for example, to include your and your partner's names. You can also share the link on social media.
