In Fable, a marital home is a house owned by the player where they reside with their spouse. Most houses in the settlements of Albion and Aurora can be used as marital homes. In Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters, and Fable Anniversary, each town will have a marital home for sale when the Hero of Oakvale first arrives at that settlement. These houses are the only ones that a couple can live in and the only ones that can be improved with new furniture. The player can purchase these houses at any time, and they will be marked on the map with the "building for sale" icon.
In Fable 1, once you have given the ring and own the marital home, you just need to talk to your partner again, making sure that the heart is at its largest.
