You'll need to find a rubber band that fits snugly around the ring, and you may need to cut off any excess. This method helps add thickness to the ring itself, ensuring a tighter fit.

While using a rubber band is a quick fix, it may not be the most discreet option, especially if the rubber band contrasts with your skin tone. Try candle wax or glue

Candle Wax

To resize your ring using dental floss or fishing line, follow these steps:

First, cut a long piece of dental floss or fishing line—around 35 inches should be enough. Over time, this will make the floss more comfortable.

Overlap the floss or fishing line at least twice and join one of the edges with a lighter. Pass the ring through the joined piece of floss or line and hold both ends together so that the ring dangles like a pendant. Pass the burnt edge through the other edge to make the first knot. Repeat this process until the floss or line covers the bottom, palm-adjacent portion of the ring. Remember to try the ring on at intervals to see when it fits.

When you are happy with the fit, use a pair of scissors to cut off the excess floss or line, or burn it off with a lighter.

If you are using fishing line, it is important to note that it comes in many different sizes. Choose a size that will fill the space between your finger and the ring comfortably.
