Hoda Kotb has not set a wedding date. In fact, the TV host is currently single, having ended her engagement with New York financier Joel Schiffman in January 2022. However, she recently revealed on Watch What Happens Live that she is open to dating Kevin Costner after learning that fans have been shipping them together.

Hoda Kotb and Joel Schiffman broke up in January 2022, calling off their engagement. The couple had been together since 2013 and got engaged in November 2019. They share two daughters, Hope and Haley.

On January 31, 2022, Kotb announced their split on the Today show, addressing the fact that viewers had noticed she wasn't wearing her engagement ring. She said:

The couple had originally planned to get married in November 2020 but had to postpone their wedding multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before their breakup, Kotb had referred to them as each other's "lifelong partners."

Since their breakup, Kotb has expressed that she is open to dating again and has even flirtatiously admitted that she is open to dating Kevin Costner after learning that fans were "shipping" them together.

Kotb graduated from Fort Hunt High School in 1982, where she was elected homecoming queen. Her previous marriage to Burzis Kanga

Hoda Kotb was married to former University of New Orleans tennis coach Burzis Kanga from 2005 to 2008. The couple met on Valentine's Day in New Orleans, where Hoda was living and working as an anchor for a local television station. They had a whirlwind romance, with Burzis proposing in May 2005, and the couple tying the knot in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic in December of that year.

However, their marriage was short-lived. Hoda filed for divorce in February 2007, and it was finalised in February 2008. According to Burzis, the marriage ended due to a combination of personal reasons and differences between the couple. He cited his father's illness, Hoda's illness (a breast cancer diagnosis in February 2007), and the strain of moving from New Orleans to New York to be with Hoda. He also acknowledged a level of immaturity and mistakes on his part.

Hoda opened up about her divorce on Valentine's Day in 2013, stating:
