Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding included six bridesmaids and four page boys, who almost stole the limelight from the Duke and Duchess themselves. The bridesmaids were all children, including Princess Charlotte, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan's goddaughters, Remi and Rylan Litt, daughters of Meghan's close friend Benita Litt. The tailor, Ajay Mirpuri, confirmed that all six bridesmaids' dresses needed adjustments and that he and his staff worked around the clock at Kensington Palace and Windsor Castle for four days before the wedding to fix them. He expressed disappointment that the coverage of the event focused on the alleged row between Kate and Meghan rather than the fact that the bridesmaids looked fabulous.

The page boys' uniforms

The four page boys at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding wore uniforms modelled on the Blues and Royals frockcoat, an old regiment of both Prince Harry and his best man, the Duke of Cambridge, who wore the adult equivalent of the uniform on the day. The page boys' outfits were made from blue doeskin, in a single-breasted style with a stand-up collar, and finished with figured braiding in the regimental pattern. The braiding was downscaled for the boys, as it would otherwise have reached beyond their shoulders. Each page boy had his initials embroidered in gold on their shoulder straps as a memento of the special event. The uniforms were made by Dege & Skinner tailors, of London's Savile Row.

The procession

The girls wore white dresses crafted from the finest ivory silk Radzimir, with charming short puff sleeves and double silk ribbon sashes tied at the back in a bow. The ceremony

The wedding ceremony of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took place on 19 May 2018 at St George's Chapel, Windsor. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her new father-in-law, Prince Charles.
